Faculty of information studies has a great pleasure of inviting you to take part in the 4th Conference on Information Society and Information Technology, which will take place in Dolenjske Toplice, Slovenia, on November 7-9, 2012. The Programme and Organizing Committees, chaired by Janez Povh and Matej Mertik, are preparing a high quality scientific programme and an exciting social programme for the Conference.

Call for papers and sessions

We invite all researchers, academicians, practitioners, as well as students working in any area of information society and information technology to present their papers.

Contributed papers will be organized in parallel sessions

  • Decision support systems (chair Blaž Rodič)
  • Process management (chair Nadja Damij)
  • ICT security (chairs Miroslav Bača and Uroš Pinterič)

No participant can present more than one paper at the Conference (but may be a co-author for other papers). Paper submission and registration will be avaiable online, via the Conference web page

Important dates

  • July18, 2012: Paper submission deadline.
  • August 15, 2012: Paper acceptance notification and review process notification.
  • September 15, 2012: Submission of revised papers.
  • September 30, 2012: Deadline for final versions of papers and registration for the conference.

Note that papers will be published in the conference proceedings only if at least one of the coauthors register for the conference and pay the registration fee by September 30.
